We invite you for an immersive evening where you will get to explore the tranquil art of marbling at Page8 on 20 April 2026. Under the expert guidance of local printmaker Alice Peake, this workshop reveals the beauty of Suminagashi, a mindful Japanese technique that transforms coffee into stunning designs.
In this hour-long session, you will learn how to envelop watercolour paper in intricate patterns using coffee as your ink. This traditional crafts-based workshop will include a 15-minute introduction and demonstration at the beginning of the workshop and a 10-minute debrief at the end. Participants will have the opportunity to create three marbled prints within a 35-minute making window, so embrace your creative side with us.
What’s included:

- Coffee marbling dye
- Marbling brushes
As you create your unique pieces, you will leave with beautifully marbled prints that reflect your personal touch— an artistic expression of your journey.
