Join us for an intimate summer evening at Page8 on 16 June 2026, led by local printmaker Alice Peake, in a hands-on cyanotype workshop inspired by botanicals and light.
During this immersive 90-minute session, you will be introduced to the timeless cyanotype process and create your own striking floral prints using dried botanicals and high-contrast imagery. The workshop begins with a brief introduction and demonstration, followed by a guided making period where you will coat paper, compose your designs, and expose them to light.
By the end of the session, you will take home your own unique cyanotype artworks and gain a deeper appreciation of this historic photographic technique.

About Alice Peake
Alice Peake is a multi-disciplinary Illustrator with a background in textile design and print. Since graduating with a BA in Decorative Arts, she has worked extensively within a number of print and illustration projects, such as Left Lion Magazine, Castle Rock Brewery and Verve Poetry Press. Recently, Alice has turned her interests to the opportunities involved in using art as a medium for enabling the learning and development of others. Currently, she assists in hands-on workshops with the V&A and Bell House and in the past, has worked with The National Justice Museum, Loughborough University.
