Shift Engineer
As Shift Engineer, you will
- Oversee the daily maintenance and engineering operations as per daily check lists
- Liaise with departments to coordinate and respond to routine / urgent maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas
- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on the hotel’s life safety systems as well as throughout other areas of the hotel, including front and back of house
- Understand statutory compliance and regulations and ensure the hotel complies with these, reporting any concerns relating to safety or guest needs.
- Work with external contractors to assist them in performing maintenance or construction work
- Typically work 8 hour shifts in 5-day work week

As Shift Engineer, you will have
- Previous experience working as Engineer, preferably with luxury hotel experience
- Certified knowledge of at least one of the key areas of engineering
- Good level of English, both written and spoken
- Good team player and able to work unsupervised. Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns (including night work only if necessary)
